MINOT — The Board of Selectmen on Tuesday night approved a revised personnel policy that will take effect in January.
The line-by-line review took five months, Selectman Lisa Cesare said.
“Nothing really affects what we’re doing right now … most of these rules are in place” Town Administrator Danielle Loring said.
Until the policy is effective, employees have the opportunity to read the document, including how overtime and vacation days are determined.
In other business, selectmen and the Budget Committee will meet Monday, Oct. 29, to begin developing a municipal budget for 2019.
Loring said she has assisted Fire Chief James Allen and highway department supervisor Scott Parker in preparing their budgets. She said she hopes to streamline the warrant for the annual town meeting March 2, 2019.
