AUBURN —  The Auburn Police Department will present its 2009 annual report to the community at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8,  in the City Council Chambers at Auburn Hall.

The meeting will include reports from police Chief Phillip Crowell and various officers and civilian staff, a statement from the department said Tuesday.

“We have several goals for the evening: to continue building our partnership with the community; to further strengthen the trust the community has in us; and to listen to the needs of our citizens,” Crowell said in the statement. “My command staff and I will be unveiling some changes to our strategic plan, including COPSAP (Community Oriented Problem Solving Analysis Project). We will also be sharing the results of our community survey, which are very enlightening.”

Other topics include a “State of the Agency” address, crime trends and statistics, sex offender monitoring, grants, youth services, community events and technology, Crowell said.

The meeting will be broadcast on Great Falls Television.
