Army National Guard Spec. Lynsie R. Mitchell is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.
The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.
Mitchell, an intelligence analyst, is a member of the 286th Combat Support and Sustainment Battalion, Bangor. She has served in the military for more than two years.
She is the daughter of Odie A. Bachelder of Rangeley. She is a 2007 graduate of Rangeley Lakes Regional School.
