AUBURN —  “There’s always a light at the end, so hold on. I promise you’ll see stronger than any or all,” sings 16-year-old Jaggar Trouant, who will be the featured performer at the Auburn Public Library’s next Teen Open Mic Night.

A student at Gardiner High School, Trouant’s newest CD, “Saint Exupery,” will be available for a donation at the event set to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in the Androscoggin Community Room.

At age 7, Trouant made his first musical recording of a song he composed and titled “Hobo Harmonica.” Besides creating original music, he is in his school’s drama club and makes movies, most recently a remake of “Romeo and Juliet.”

Doors will open and performer registrations will begin at 5:30. Refreshments will be served.

Admission is free, but attendees are invited to bring a can of food to donate to the Auburn Middle School’s Green Closet food program. For more information, contact Sally Holt at 333-6640 or e-mail [email protected].
