BOOTHBAY HARBOR — The wedding of Aimee Lynn Jack and Michael Edmund Curran was held on Aug. 1 at our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor. The Rev. Philip Tracy of Corpus Christi Parish in Waterville, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Sonia Jack of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Peggy Curran of Lynnfield, Mass.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a cream colored A-line gown with line of buttons down the back and to the end of the chapel length train. There was a blue ribbon sash on the gown and the veil was a vintage beaded cap worn by her grandmother and mother. She carried a bouquet of wild flowers grown locally in blues and purples.

Elise Joline Jack, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Curran, sister of the bridegroom, Amanda Bergeron, second cousin of the bride, and Rachel Tobie and Amy Parker, friends of the bride.

Brendan Curran, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Adam Carlson, Michael (Mike) Stratton and John McKee, friends of the bridegroom, and Russell Senk, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bridegroom at Westport Island, after which the couple traveled to Quebec City in Canada. They are residing in Nahant, Mass.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and an undergraduate of Colby College, with a bachelor’s degree in English. She received her master’s degree in English from King’s College in London and is assistant director of communications at Harvard University Alumni Affairs and Development.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Governor Dummer Academy and an undergraduate of Colby College, with a bachelor’s degree in English. He is an English teacher/coach at St. Sebastian’s School in Needham, Mass.
