Dance and concert
AUBURN — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, Auburn Lewiston Clubhouse, 43 Second St., will have a dance and concert featuring Civil Disturbance, from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. The family event is planned by the Torch Club, a community service group based at the club. Proceeds will benefit the Torch Club.

History club
MINOT — The Minot Historical Society is forming a Junior History Club.
The club plans to meet monthly at a time and place to be determined by
those who sign up. Membership is open to students in grades four to eight, ages 9
and up.
Some topics the club might explore would be early businesses of
Minot, one-room schools, town government, the grange, stone walls,
hearth cooking, notable town residents, archeology

Bridge club
LEWISTON — The winners at the Lewiston Auburn Social Bridge Club at the Multi Purpose Center on Feb. 8 were as follows: first in flight A and B, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier; second in flight A, Paul Mitnik and Henry Lerrett; third, Anna Vitello and Bunny Banks; second in flight B, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; third, Helen Little and Alberta Turner.
Winners on Feb. 9 were: first in flight A, Pat Garcia and David Lock; second, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier; third, Nancy Lindgren and Ninnie Kivus. First in flight B, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier; second, Susan Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett. There will be no game on Monday, Feb. 15, Presidents’ Day. The next game will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Winners at Schooner Estates on Feb. 1 were: first in flight A, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace; second, Ninnie Kivus and David Lock second; third, Anna Vitello and Claire Lyons. Another game will be played Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Scrapbooking
LISBON FALLS — A Student Ambassador scrapbook fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at the Marion T. Morse Community Center, 8 School St. Lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes. Cost is $35 each person.
