Extension meeting

INDUSTRY — Members of the Clearwater Extension Homemakers will meet at 7
p.m. Thursday, Feb 18, at Shorey Chapel. Tom Saviello will speak on
Australia, followed by the regular meeting.

Four chaplains

LIVERMORE FALLS — The George Bunten Post 10 and Auxiliary Unit 10, American Legion, Reynolds Avenue, will present a Four Chaplains remembrance program followed by a recognition reception for Boys’ and Girls’ State 2009 delegates at 3 p.m. Sunday Feb. 21. Public supper

JAY — A free public supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Main Street. Doors will open at 4. The menu will include baked pasta, soup, salad, bread, drink and desserts. The building is handicapped accessible at the rear door. Donations will be welcome, but are not necessary.

Chowder luncheon

FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a fish chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. The luncheon will include chowder, biscuit, pickles, cheese, dessert and coffee or tea. For local delivery within five miles of the church, call 778-4705. The donation for the luncheon is $6.
