HARRISON — A Winter Fun Day to benefit the Waterford World’s Fair was held recently at High View Farm.
There was sledding, food, a bonfire and animals in the barn for petting, including two miniature horses, an angora rabbit, cows, pigs and chickens. There were also horse-drawn sleigh rides through the woods, with three teams of horses and a single pulling the sleighs.
There will be a public supper to benefit the fair from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Harrison Calvary Community Church. The menu will include ham and turkey with all the fixings as well as homemade baked pies. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for kids.
