The First Auburn Seniors held a coronation during their monthly meeting at the Hasty Community Center in Auburn on Wednesday. Normand Poulin, 77, and Norma Masse, 87, of Turner were crowned king and queen during the belated Valentine party. Poulin, a World War II veteran who served for 23 years in the U.S. Army, said it was a total surprise to him. “I didn’t not expect this,” he said. “I have never been king of anything in my life.” Masse said, “I feel a bit foolish but very nice at the same time.”
