AUBURN — The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will host a basic New Local Plumbing Inspector Workshop on Thursday, March 11, at the Riverwatch-Hilton Garden Hotel.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and workshop sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost is $75 each person. The fee includes training materials, lunch and breaks.

Newly certified Local Plumbing Inspectors and people seeking certification will receive a thorough explanation of the permitting, inspection and enforcement provisions of the Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Rules, CMR 241. Six-and-one-half training contact hours will be awarded, as well as a certificate of participation for those attending the workshop.
