Special town meeting voters stand in the lobby of Town Hall by a 1923 Ford Model T snowmobile as they prepare to go into the meeting room Thursday evening. The Model T was purchased by local businessman and mailman Walter P. Cullinan in 1923 and used to deliver mail year-round. A snowmobile conversion kit with wooden skis was used to make it a snow-bound vehicle. The car was recently restored by the family, who has had it for more than 85 years. It is available for public viewing during regular Town Hall business hours.
