Pauline M. Apt

AUBURN — Pauline M. Apt, 93, a resident of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility, with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Calais, Sept. 28, 1916, the daughter of Calvin and Charlotte (Eaton) Bassett. She was raised in Calais, where she was also educated, graduating from Calais Academy in 1934. She and her family moved to Sabattus and had been a resident there since 1984.
She was a loyal member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lewiston and had a strong feeling for her faith. She was also very proud of her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma Robinson and her husband, Federic, of Sabattus; her adopted daughter, Rita Ray also of Sabattus; three grandchildren, Ricky Robinson of Lewiston, Robert Robinson of Monmouth and Nancy Leeman of Lewiston; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Apt Sept. 28, 1979; and her two twin brothers, George and John Bassett.
