MILTON PLANTATION — Fire investigators in Rumford were continuing their investigation late Sunday night into an evening fire at a Milton Road home.
Deputy Chief Richard Coulombe of the Rumford Fire Department said that the fire was reported at about 6:54 p.m. Sunday at 639 Milton Road in Milton Plantation. Firefighters from Rumford, Andover and Woodstock responded to the scene of the blaze, which was knocked down within a half-hour of the initial call.
Coulombe said that the blaze broke out in a second-floor bedroom of the two-story home. A family living in the home was uninjured. The cause of the fire remained undetermined as of press time Sunday night.
A Sunday evening fire at this home at 639 Milton Road in Milton Plantation was quickly extinguished. No one was injured.
