LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will offer several programs this spring to provide information and support to children and adults in Central and Western Maine grieving the death of a loved one.
Program sessions will help participants understand the grief process, share feelings and experiences and find hope and comfort. All programs are led by trained bereavement volunteers and/or professional grief facilitators and are offered at no cost to participants.
The following programs will be offered:
Lewiston/Auburn area
Program for Grieving Children and Teens will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning April 27.
Bereavement after Suicide will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning May 3.
Guidance through Grief will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. or from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning May 4. The program is co-sponsored with Central Maine Medical Center.
Oxford Hills area
Pathways through Grief will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning May 5.
Farmington/Wilton area
Program for Grieving Children and Teens will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning April 28.
Pathways through Grief will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning May 4.
Rumford area
Program for Grieving Children and Teens will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning April 28.
Pathways through Grief will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning May 5.
Bridgton
Pathways through Grief will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning May 5.
