Harvey L. Fugere
1924 – 2010
AUBURN — Harvey L. Fugere, 85, of 440 Minot Ave., passed away on Sunday, April 4, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
He was born in Princeville, Canada, Oct. 25, 1924, the son of the late Emile and Florida Patry Fugere. He was married to Armande J. (Parent) Fugere, who predeceased him Oct. 12, 2003. Prior to his retirement, he was employed many years at Bates Manufacturing.
He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed playing bingo and collected die-cast model cars, 45 RPM records and baseball cards.
He is survived by a daughter, Pauline Goyette and husband, Raymond, of Windham; a son, Robert Fugere and wife, Delaine, of Sabattus; four grandchildren, Kathy Jackson, Darren Goyette, Monica Timmons and Crystal Desrosiers; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Grady and Theresa Gahagan, both of Auburn; many nieces and nephews; and his companion, Connie Martin.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Shawn Dostie in 2005.
