Jules Fecteau sells organic flowers and produce during the New Gloucester Community Market grand opening on Sunday. The town’s first farmers’ market was organized by Laura Campbell of New Gloucester. “People have been very positive about it,” said Campbell as she accepted donations from people in line for free burgers made from local beef and cheese. “I hope this becomes the biggest market between Orono and Portland,” said Campbell. The community market will run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday until Oct. 31, except for Memorial Day weekend. Fecteau is the owner of Serendipity Acres, an organic farm in North Yarmouth that produces meat, eggs and vegetables.
