‘Moving Through Fear’

FARMINGTON — Women, Work and Community will offer a four-week training on “Moving Through Fear” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, June 9 to 30, at the Farmington Center for Women, Work and Community, 108 Perham St.

The workshop is for anyone who may have fears that are keeping them from making decisions, going to school, work or pursuing dreams. Participants will learn skills to help let go of the fears that keep them stuck and create positive changes.

Baby-sitting

PHILLIPS — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer a “Baby-sitting 101” training program for girls in grades four to eight in the Phillips area.

The program will be held from 2:45 to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, June 14 and 15. The cost of the program is $5 for currently registered Girl Scouts and $17 for non-Girl Scouts, which includes a $12 Girl Scout membership fee. Membership assistance is available for the fee.

Grange meeting

LIVERMORE — Members of the New Norlands Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the hall. The Grange will honor Penny Brown as librarian of the Livermore Public Library. She will be the recipient of the Community Service Award.
