LEWISTON — HealthSteps, part of the prevention and wellness services offered through St. Mary’s Health System, offers a wide range of classes with the core membership fee as well as a variety of specialty classes, including:

Line Dancing: Participants will learn how to do fun and easy line dances. No partner needed and no previous dance experience required. Tuesdays, June 1 to 29, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the Lepage Large Conference Room, 99 Campus Ave. Cost is $35.

Gentle Exercise: The class is designed for those with arthritis, recovering from cancer or any individual who desires a mild form of exercise. It will help improve range of motion, strength, posture, balance and coordination. Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 8 to July 8, from 9 to 9:45 a.m., in the Resident Dining Room, St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, 102 Campus Ave. Cost is $22 or free with core membership.

Senior Fitness: The class will provide participants with a safe and effective workout that includes a warm-up, cardiovascular component, resistance training to build strength, balance and flexibility exercises. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 7 to July 9, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Resident Dining Room. Johanne Healey will instruct. Cost is $30.
