HARRISON — The Memorial Day ceremonies will kick off at 9:30 a.m. in the United Parish Congregational Church with a service followed by the parade at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker at the church service will be retired U.S. Navy veteran Brian Spaulding of Harrison.

The parade will form at the church on Main Street across from Crystal Lake Park and go up to Harrison Village Cemetery. From there it will continue to School Street and Route 35 and then to Lincoln Street behind the Post Office where a wreath will be thrown into the lake.

From Lincoln Street the parade will continue to the town common and finally back to the church.

Ice cream will be served to the children after the parade.
