AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s Teen Leadership Camp, located on Lower Range Pond, still has openings for the summer. The summer program is offered to teens entering the ninth and 10th grade in the fall. Participants in the program will be involved in a variety of camp activities and have opportunities for exploration outside of the day camp setting.
The leadership camp is based on the YMCA character development core values and is designed to provide teenagers with experiences that will enable them to build leadership skills.
Enrollment is limited to 14 teen leaders each week and a minimum of eight are needed to run the program. Cost for the program is $60 for a member and $70 for a nonmember. Teen leaders must commit to a minimum of four weeks and attend mandatory training the week of June 14. Those interested in attending may register at the front desk.
