CANTON — Irene Elizabeth (Riggs) Skillings, 87, passed away June 8, at her residence in Canton.

She was born Dec. 31, 1922 in Hallowell. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and loved her camera.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Tuttle and wife, Rachael, of Temple, and James Tuttle of Clarksville, Ark.; two daughters, Linda Barden and husband, Gary, of Temple, and Janette Osborne of Colorado Spring, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Karen Barden Ellis, Joe Barden, Penny McDermott, Julie Osborne, Josh Osborne, Jason Gross, Vina Clark and Mel Edson; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Delores Jean Skillings Gross.
