MEXICO — Summer reading at the Mexico Public Library isn’t just for kids. It’s for adult patrons, too.

Beginning the week of June 21 and continuing through the week of Aug. 9, for every book that an adult reader (ages 16 and over) reads and finishes, they will be eligible to enter a weekly drawing for a gift. Participants must fill out a ticket at the library’s circulation desk, with name, phone number and book title.

The weekly drawings will be done on Friday afternoons for the eight weeks of the program. Winners will be notified by telephone. Prizes include a tea mug, T-shirt, apron, pewter bookmark, book-opoly game, latte coffee mug, DVD and a tote bag.

For more information, contact the library at 364-3281.
