LEWISTON — William “Bill” Osgood, 68, of Bridgton, died Thursday, June 10, in Lewiston after a brief illness.

He was born in Portland on Oct. 15, 1941, the son of William “Tinker” Osgood and Beulah (Dolloff) Osgood, and attended schools in Bridgton, graduating from Bridgton High School in 1960.

Bill worked at Central Maine Power from 1966 to 1995, and served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963.

He is survived by his wife, Iris Osgood, of Bridgton; two daughters, Lisa Sinclair and her husband, Bobby, of Lewiston, and their children, Alec and Taylor, and Amy Scott of Windham and her children, Logan and Tucker; his mother, Beulah Osgood, of Westbrook; one sister,  Joanna Baker, of Westbrook; one brother, Keith “Kim” Osgood, of Gray; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, William “Tinker” Osgood; a brother, Dale L. Osgood; and a sister, Betty Graffam.
