Brittany Smyth has made the dean’s list for the spring semester at Mitchell College, New London, Conn., with a grade point average 3.88. She is a 2007 graduate of The Gilbert School and is majoring in hospitality and tourism.

She was also selected The Top Female Scholar Athlete and was selected to receive Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities at an award ceremony on April 28.

Smyth is the daughter of Terry and Becky Smyth of Winsted, Conn., and granddaughter of George and Carole Haley of Rangeley Plantation.
