One of the biggest real estate deals that has been effected in Lewiston in a long time has just been closed by Walter E. Rose of Greene, who has purchased the property, including several blocks, between Mill Street and Hines Alley from Chestnut Street to the Cross canal. This comprises about 30,000 square feet of land. The estimated value of the property is around $50,000.

This property is considered a valuable one, not alone because of the revenue from the tenants in the several blocks, but also because of its location for a mill site at some future time.
