LEWISTON — Pack Life, the local animal advocacy group created to ensure that “no dog is left behind” will celebrate its first anniversary Saturday with a party at the Kennel Shop in Lewiston. The party, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include food, a free raffle and a look at Pack Life’s new programs for 2010.

The event will also feature three puppies available for adoption through the CT Underhound Railroad, a Connecticut-based group that pulls dogs from shelters before they’re euthanized and finds homes for them, sometimes out of state. The puppies in Lewiston are mixed breeds, likely part Australian cattle dog, and are about nine weeks old.
