FARMINGTON — Buddy is a 4-year-old Newfie lab mix that came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter in May when his owner could no longer care for him.

Staff said that he is a very sweet, obedient boy that loves treats and will do anything to please his new owner; he even knows how to sit pretty.

Buddy is not that good around younger children, so he needs a home with no one less than 12-years-old. He loves to play and be outdoors. Any active family that would like to bring Buddy on rides would be ideal, said the staff.
