LEWISTON — The wedding of Laura Cyr and Jason Nadeau was held May 28 at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston. Msgr. Marc Caron officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Nadeau is the daughter of Jessica Cyr of Portland. Mr. Nadeau is the son of Janice and Andre Nadeau of Biddeford.

The bride wore a strapless ivory statin gown with beads, chapel length train and a beaded fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of purple hydrangea and ivory roses.

Jill Nadeau, new sister-in-law, served as honor attendant and Amanda Johnson, friend, was bridesmaid. Leah Johnson, daughter of the bridesmaid, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Donald Olivier, friend. Usher was Chris Godbout, another friend. Hayden Brown, son of a friend, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Ski Area in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Las Vegas for a week. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and is currently attending Central Maine Community College for a degree in nursing. She is employed at Lewiston-Auburn 911.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Northeastern in Massachusetts and is a member of the Lewiston Police Department.
