LISBON — Lisa Dixon, 39, of Lewiston was transported to Central Maine Medical Center after her vehicle was struck from behind Friday by an SUV driven by Michael Lambert, 32, of Sabattus.

Both drivers were traveling east on Route 196 and Lambert was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision, police said.

Office Jeff Picard estimated damage to Dixon’s 2009 Kia at $3,000, and $1,000 to Lambert’s Ford Expedition in the 11:50 a.m. crash.
