Chelsea Bernard of Dixfield recently completed her first year at college. She attended Emerson College in Boston, Mass. and transferred to Bennington College in Bennington, Vt., for the second semester. She attained a grade point average of 3.74 and 3.84 respectively.

Chelsea is the daughter of Owen and Brenda Bernard and the granddaughter of John and Shirley Cote and the late Omer and Eva Mae Bernard.
