ROXBURY — Seven articles that were omitted from the March town meeting warrant will go before voters at a special town meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at the town office beside Route 17.

After electing a moderator, residents will be asked to vote to on:

Transferring $2,200 from the Excise Tax account for the code enforcement officer/plumbing inspector payroll.

Transferring $500 from the Excise Tax account for the code enforcement officer/plumbing inspector’s mileage.

Raising or appropriating $383 in support of local access television station WVAC Channel 7.

Raising or appropriating $100 for the Greater Rumford Community Center.

Raising or appropriating $75 for the River Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Article 7 asks if Selectmen John Sutton, Michael Worthley and Timothy Derouche don’t want to raise taxes, to see if the town will authorize them to use the Time Warner Cable franchise fees to reduce taxes for the 2010 tax year by $2,010.53.
