Town mural
LISBON — The Lisbon Revitalization Design Committee will hold a community mural painting day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 19, at the Town Office Council Room.
The mural will be affixed to the second story of the Downeast Building on Main Street and will be a reproduction of Lisbon artist Frank Gross’ work, to honor him for his many historic-inspired art contributions to the town. The painting that has been chosen for reproduction is a street scene of Main Street, Lisbon Falls.
The lead artist will be Jennifer Fox, an art teacher at Lisbon High School. The committee hopes to have many hands touch this project, regardless of age or skill level.
