RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for John Maurice Pache was celebrated Tuesday at St. Athanasius–St. John Church, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections included “One Day At A Time,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepard,” “Amazing Grace” and “Fly Like A Bird.” Readings were given by Corrine Prendergast and Richard Arsenault. Eulogies were given by Mike Singer and Heather Pache. Military honors were provided by the Military Honors Program of Augusta. A reception followed in the church hall after the funeral Mass. Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
