1933 – 2010

FARMINGTON — Barbara Anne Brindley, 76, of Farmington died of natural causes at her home on Wednesday, July 21.

She was born Aug. 22, 1933, in Farmington, a daughter of Frederick G. and Edith (Youngquist) Wheeler. She was a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of ’51. For many years, she was employed as a secretary at Forster Mfg. Co.

She joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1952 and served as past worthy matron of both the Farmington and New Sharon chapters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and played an active role in the life of her granddaughter, Jamie Michaud.

She is survived by four stepdaughters, Robyn Lupone and her husband, John “Jack,” of Escondido, Calif., Connie Lambert of Redwood City, Calif., Barbara Adams and her husband, Harold, of Lewiston and Patricia Gilmore of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two sisters, Eleanor Campbell of Farmington and Marion Filaroska of Houston, Texas; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, Carrol Doak and Richard “Dick” Brindley.
