AUBURN — Hertz Rental Car plans to open a store at 1120 Center St.

The company has signed a lease with the Boulos Co. for about half of the building’s first floor. The space was formerly occupied by Woodworker’s Warehouse, Boulos broker Jon Leahy said.

Work has not begun on the site, said Mike Malok, Hertz’s area manager for Maine.

The business will not open in Auburn for months, he said.
