AUBURN — Lisa P. DeBlois of Lake Shore Drive, Leeds, passed peacefully July 29, after a short illness at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.
She was born on July 11, 1961, in Lewiston, the daughter of Glenn and Carmen Foster. She was educated in Turner schools and graduated from Leavitt Area High School, where she was captain of Pi-cone Math Team and Salutatorian. She attended New York University and received a Bachelor of Science degree. She volunteered in New York at Bellevue Hospital Children Center. Lisa also volunteered her summers at China Lake Conference Center as a Camp Counselor.
She loved music and singing performing at many open mic nights in New York City. Her interests include reading and writing poetry, playing guitar and garage sales.
Lisa was employed in various fields from IP, Jay, car wash manager in San Antonio, Texas, hotel desk clerk to credit union teller and recently waitressing, she enjoyed dealing with the public.
Besides her parents of Turner, she is survived by one son, Christopher DeBlois of Boston; husband, David DeBlois of Leeds; a sister, Kathryn and Timothy Griffin of Hermitage, Pa.; and mother and father-in-law, Edgar and Evelyn DeBlois of Greene.
The family wishes to thank the staff of CMMC, especially Jackie Fournier, NP Palliative Care, and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their compassionate care.
