SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Conrad Gerard “Jerry” Giguere, 79, went into the loving arms of his Savior and saw Him face to face for the first time on July 15, at 11:45 p.m. and will be with Him forevermore. Welcoming him into Heaven were his father and mother, Conrad and Irene Roy Giguere. His sister, Dorothy Hollis and her husband, Bill, were also part of that reception.

He was born in Lewiston, Dec. 14, 1930, and has made South Carolina his home for the last 27 years.

Those remaining are his wife, Carol of 43 years; his daughters and their husbands, Michelle and Kyle Patton of Boiling Springs, S.C., and Laura and Stephen Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; seven wonderful grandchildren, whom he adored; his brother, Robert Giguere and his wife, Beverly, of Lewiston; his sister-in-law, Sandi Kottman of Woodruff, S.C.; his brothers-in-law and their families, John and Patty Lebel, Jim and Brenda Lebel and Jerry and Jill Lebel of Maine; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved greatly and always took an interest in what they were doing.

Some of his most memorable years were spent on Sabattus Lake, and serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Massey.
