I am a resident of Foster Road in Auburn. I just found out that city officials are trying to rezone my road from residential to industrial. I believe that most of the residents out here do not want that to happen.

I believe the rezoning is being considered so that the airport can be expanded, adding more industry.

Of course, that would mean that people might lose their homes. Or will we all lose our homes at some point?

This is a neighborhood filled with many families who are seeing it change in a way we never dreamed it would, and this could happen to anyone’s neighborhood.

How much industry will be enough?

I have talked to many families who just want to leave Auburn. I find that very sad. I have lived here my whole life.

City councilors need to know how people feel.
