LEWISTON — Lilliane A. Morin, 75, a resident of Bates St., Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday as a result of injuries received in a traffic accident on Aug. 2 in Lewiston.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 22, 1934, the daughter of Lucien and Blanche (Vachon) Bernier. She was employed over 33 years at Bates Mill until her retirement. She was a longtime resident of Lisbon where she attended Holy Trinity Church and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Father Remy Circle No. 508 in Brunswick. After moving to Lewiston, she attended Holy Cross Church.

She loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who also enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time.

The Morin family would like to thank Central Maine Medical Center ICU and M4 staffs for the excellent care given to both our father and mother during their hospitalization.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert J. Morin Sr., of Lewiston; three sons, Gilbert J. Morin Jr., of Virginia, Daniel Morin of Lebanon and Donald Morin of Lisbon; four daughters, Edith Guay and husband, Oscar of West Newfield, Nancy Windle and husband, Mark of Auburn, Linda Verrill of North Yarmouth and Annette Clark and husband, Thomas, of Lisbon; one brother, Lucien Bernier Jr., and wife, Phoebe of Gray; one sister, Mrs. Arlene Roach of Minot; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
