
Friday may be the first day of winter but Maine isn’t expected to look or feel very wintry. The temperatures are expected to get close to 50.

A storm moving into the area Thursday won’t bring the state any snow either. Precipitation may start as a wintry mix inland but it’s expected to change to rain everywhere, according to the National Weather Service. Minor flooding on rivers is possible, especially on any rivers with significant ice, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain showers may continue Saturday.
