SUMNER — There will be a community supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St, Route 219.

There will be casseroles, salads, desserts, coffee and punch, as well as a raffle of baked goods and household items. Donations are accepted for the meal. Proceeds benefit the outreach mission of the church.

DIXFIELD — Adventist Community Services have moved the location of its free community dinner, held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the last Monday of the month, to 58 Pine St. 

Use entance on the right side of the building; it is handicapped accessible.

FARMINGTON — There will be a public supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road.

The menu includes baked beans, casseroles, salads and homemade pies. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12.
