LEWISTON — Pathway Vineyard Church will hold the fourth annual Central Maine Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 4.

This year, 16 classes of cars will be judged, with trophies awarded to first-, second- and third-place finishers in each class. There will also be a trophy for best of show.

Categories of cars will include 1950s through 1990s and up, street rods, muscle cars and trucks (both 2 and 4 WD). There will also be classes for pre-1950 antiques, VWs, motorcycles, special interest, foreign and tuners as well as restoration in progress. Judging will be based on appearance, cleanliness, workmanship and detail.

The family event will be held rain or shine at the church’s campus at 9 Foss Road. It will begin at 8 a.m. and culminate in an awards ceremony at 2 p.m.

The entry fee is $5 per vehicle shown. Participants can preregister by calling the Pathway Vineyard office at 784-9500. On-site registration will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. day of show.

Admission and parking are free. Concessions will be available for a nominal fee, with proceeds benefiting the Pathway Vineyard Christian School.
