This is in reference to The Associated Press story headlined “Maine detainee: NYC car bomber was sociable,” printed Sept. 1.
I am sure that the headline is referring to Mohammad Shafiz Rahman’s brief statement regarding how he knew what convicted terrorist Faisal Shahzad was like in college, however, the headline could easily be interpreted as referring to Rahman as the New York City car bomber who was sociable.
Although the article was informative, I felt the headline was confusing, given what Rahman has cooperatively endured with such grace.
