LEWISTON —  On Friday, Sept. 24, Kit Demos will host an evening of improvisational jazz beginning at 9 p.m. at She Doesn’t Like Guthries.

Demos, of Portland, has studied physics, jazz and classical music performance privately and in college. He has been performing and recording with free jazz/free improv guitarist Jeff Platz in the Northeast and Europe, and performing with the Portland-based band Mystic Out Bop Review since 2000.
