ANDOVER — Ellis River Riders held two days of Gymkhana on Labor Day weekend, with game shows on both Sept. 4 and 5. Day end awards were given as well as awards for both days combined. 

There were events for every age and ability. The stadium-style seating was filled with spectators who had come for a day of fun and free entertainment and there was homemade food at the food booth with desserts made by their own Gloria (Mama) Cayer.

The season is winding down with only one Gymkhana show left for the 2010 season. The final show will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17. It is open to members and nonmembers and free to spectators.The show grounds are located at 78 Airport Road, off Route 5.

There will also be an open show, both English and Western, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16.
