Association meeting

LEWISTON — The National Association of Insurance Women, Androscoggin Valley, will meet Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Marco’s Restaurant, Mollison Way. The meeting will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 5:45 p.m.

Members and guests will be welcomed and the speaker will be Joe Stephenson from the Special Investigative Unit at One Beacon Insurance Company. Reservations should be made no later than Wednesday, Sept. 29, by calling Cathy Morgan at 657-4938 or e-mail [email protected].

ACA to meet

LEWISTON — The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52 of the Association Canado-Americaine will gather at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.

Following the monthly business meeting there will be a social hour with refreshments served by Aliette and Ron Couturier. The ACA is a subdivision of Royal Arcanum fraternal benefit society. More information is available by calling chapter President Dolores Poirier at 782-8109.

Youth program

NEW GLOUCESTER — AWANA, a new youth program starting at the New Gloucester Bible Church, will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 6. 

The groups will include: Cubbies, ages 3 to 5; Sparks, kindergarten to grade two; Truth and Training, grades three to six. There will be games, songs, Bible lessons, Scripture memory and awards. For more information, call 926-3140.
