AUBURN — Members of the Auburn Art Club will host the Senior Readers Theater at their upcoming meeting at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at the United Methodist Church of Auburn, 439 Park Ave.

The Senior Readers Theater is a division of Community Little Theatre under the direction of Janet Gibson. Sixteen seniors from the Lewiston-Auburn community make up the readers theater. Many members have appeared in Community Little Theatre productions. They include Paul and Sally Belisle, Norm Davis, Al and Lu Farrington, Bob Gardner, Joel Goodman, Rachel Morin, Irma Penn, Barbara Randall, Pearl Sawyer, June Spear, Linda Jackson-Washburn, Judy Webber and Naomi York.

This is the fourth session for Readers Theater in providing comedic skits to various local organizations. Recently the group entertained the senior college “Food For Thought” program at L/A College, located at the University of Southern Maine campus in Lewiston.

Art Club hostesses for the Oct. 18 meeting are led by Lucille Oldham and include Joan Libby, Elaine Sylvester and Lillian Coombs.
