State Sen. John Nutting has served the district well. He is a thoughtful, hard-working legislator who listens to his constituents, researches the issues and is willing to make the tough decisions that need to be made.

Most importantly to me, he is a passionate supporter of the schools.

He advocates for children and makes sure teachers have the tools they need. He understands the value of education, not just for children today, but for communities tomorrow. And he makes sure that our communities receive their fair share of support.

I have a lot of respect for John Nutting and the way he approaches his service to the towns of Greene, Leeds, Lisbon, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Mechanic Falls, Minot, Sabattus, Turner and Wales. He knows his constituents because he meets with them, and he listens to them.

He is a strong voice for all of us and he has my support.
