Losing Tom Saviello as my state representative as a result of term limits could be a cause for sadness if it were not for the fact that this county has an abundance of men of character, ability and common sense.
Russell Black is such a man.
Black is a self-employed farmer, logger and contractor. He is a Wilton selectman, has served on the Franklin County Budget Committee, and has been a supporter and coach with the Mt. Blue sports program. He has been recognized for his work with conservation by the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine and the Franklin County Farm Bureau. He is a man engaged with his community — a man who genuinely cares.
We need leaders in Augusta who speak for the people. With Tom Saviello in the Senate and Russell Black in the House, we will have the representation we deserve.
