A governor does not lead a state alone; a governor must be able to work with others to make progress toward goals. Tendencies toward outbursts and disrespectful, insulting remarks are counterproductive and do not achieve desirable results.
Leadership requires tact, professionalism, communication, patience, experience and knowledge. Libby Mitchell possesses these qualities and she is my choice for governor of Maine.
